Born and raised in the heart of the Bluegrass

Born in Lexington and raised on a cattle farm in Fayette and Clark Counties, I am deeply rooted in Central Kentucky and dedicated to its special culture, extraordinary people, and incomparable Bluegrass landscape.

This connection to, and love of place, drives both my passion and purpose at Knox Consulting. Working with my clients to do great things makes me happy. It’s the privilege of a lifetime.

Achievements

  • Prevented the construction of a dangerous cell-tower development adjacent to Mt. Brilliant Farm operations and employee housing, 2018.

  • Launched the $2 million capital campaign for the Integrative Medicine and Health Program at UK Healthcare, 2018.

  • Participated in the formation and administration of the Opioid Addiction Task force at UK Healthcare that advanced several notable initiatives to address opioid use disorders at the University of Kentucky and throughout the state, including the Kentucky Addiction Prevention Education Program (KAPE), the First-Bridge outpatient clinic at the UK Center for Drug and Alcohol Research, and an addiction service line at UK Chandler Hospital, 2016-2018.

  • Ushered over 100 land-use policies into law; secured annual operating budgets exceeding $1 million; and gained over 20,000 supporters in the community at Fayette Alliance, 2006-2016.

  • Instituted widespread voter-education initiatives at Fayette Alliance during Lexington- Urban County Council and Mayoral campaigns, including drafting candidate questionnaires, circulating position materials, and hosting debates in various media venues, 2006-2016.

  • Recipient of the Bluegrass Tomorrow “Vision” Award, 2013.

  • Member of the Transition Team for Mayor-Elect Jim Gray, 2011.

  • Recipient of the Lexington Young Professional Association “Rising Star” Award, 2008.
